6G-TERAKOM

The surge in global data demands has spurred advances in mobile communication technologies, necessitating flexible and efficient wireless solutions. The transition from traditional wired field bus systems to wireless communication introduces new challenges, including the need for energy-efficient and high-data-rate wireless technologies.

In the "6G-TERAKOM" project, we focus on developing a terahertz-range radio system (D-Band) with integrated antennas. This system aims to provide precise and rapid alignment of radio waves for diverse mobile communication scenarios. The project emphasizes a modular and scalable approach with open interfaces, ensuring flexibility for complex application scenarios. Creonic's expertise is integral in designing efficient and intelligent modules, contributing to the project's overall success.

"6G-TERAKOM" drives innovation by developing a modular, energy-efficient, chip-based, and AI-enhanced antenna system. Creonic plays a key role in advancing this technology, contributing to the scalability and intelligence of Terahertz base stations. This not only strengthens Germany and Europe's technological position but also fosters technological sovereignty through knowledge-building and increased production in the region.
